MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions form part of the agreement between you and Titan Fitness Scotland in relation to your membership and use of the facilities we provide.
This agreement will run from the start date shown on the membership agreement form and will continue to run unless terminated by either party in accordance with the terms and conditions set out later on in this document.
All Membership Fees must be paid monthly in advance by standing order
All Classes must be booked and paid for prior to class commencing. Any class which is booked but not cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the start may be subject to the full charge being applied. This must be cleared on your next visit to the facility.
You will not be allowed entry to the facility until any arrears are paid in full. We reserve the right to apply any administration fee or initial payment which is in place at that time for re-joining the facility if the arrears is not settled within 14 days of the due date.
You must advise us immediately of change of contact details
All members must sign in and out in accordance with health and safety policy
Inability to use facilities
If, for a period of 4 weeks or more you are unable to use the facility because of illness, injury or pregnancy please speak to us. You may be able to place your membership on hold for a short period. Acceptance is at the Owners sole discretion.
Cancellation of membership should be done in writing with 1 month notice applied
It is your responsibility to cancel your standing order for payment of fees
We may choose to cancel your membership for:
Breach of payment as underlined above.
Serious or repeated breach of club rules and regulations which include unsafe practices within the gymnasium, Conduct of yourself and anyone you bring to the facility. We reserve the right to terminate membership with immediate effect.
You damage any equipment or facilities or fail to follow instructions given on their safe use
You operate as a Personal Trainer or commission a personal trainer without our consent
For the purposes of development and improvement we reserve the right to alter the opening times of the club. Notification will be given
Certain facilities and classes require health screening forms and disclaimers to be completed. These must be done prior to exercise commencing and you must inform a member of staff if your health circumstances alter immediately. We may identify possible issues and recommend you seek further medical advice prior to taking exercise. We are not liable should you choose not to take the advice or ignore this recommendation. In any event you should consult with your GP or specialist medical practitioner before starting any exercise programme.
If as a result of circumstances out with our control (flooding, damage to buildings or equipment, safety or security reasons, staff sickness) we may have to fully or partially close our facility temporarily at short notice. If this was to continue for more than 1 week we will refund a proportionate part of your membership.
We cannot accept loss or damage to any of your personal effects or damage to vehicles.
We will record any personal information you give us in accordance with data protection laws. All personal and medical information will be kept confidential but made available to those involved with your programmes and activities. By being a member you consent to the above.
Amendment of Rules
We reserve the right to amend the club rules, fees and membership details at their discretion. All changes will be sent direct to members and posted around the facility.
